My heart sings with the resonating connection and energy created by our inaugural Ark of Safety Summit Community Resiliency gathering.
Leading with purpose, especially during times of crisis, requires tremendous courage. And I know without a doubt that your thought leadership and efforts made the forward thrust of this movement possible. Thank you for being a panelist!
Not everyone heard our call. Some questioned the need for action in these areas or even declared defeat well before our movement was underway. I am entirely grateful that you chose to lend your voice to this cause. Through your courageous leadership, we have set the path to shared prosperity by focusing our collective minds, forging strong partnerships, sharing resources, and setting attainable goals for building resilient communities.
Together we have launched a movement that helps create a culture that supports people feeling safe – where their belonging and sharing are not threatened by speaking out about their most vulnerable needs. The human connection you helped create at the Ark of Safety Community Resiliency Summit is something that will not be easily broken.
On behalf of the Building Resilient Communities board of directors, Ark of Safety Community Resiliency Summit planning committee, and myself, thank you for your participation on this important journey, for creating a safe space and connection, and for your thought leadership during the summit. Your leadership and efforts to forge new ways of thinking will affect communities most deeply.
