The Ark of Safety Community Resiliency Summit is intended to be a convening of key leaders and decision makers across the Inland Empire. You are being invited because we believe you understand the impact that disasters have when people are vulnerable and have been under served due to systemic issues, lack of resources, poor health conditions, etc. We want all voices represented.
This is not just another event. It is a kickoff for a movement. The movement is to identify and address the things that are causing the same groups of people (mostly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) to be at risk regardless of the type of disaster.
One of the most important outcomes of the Summit will be the development of the Roadmap to Resilience. Since this is the inaugural year for the Summit, the information will establish a foundation of the current state of resilience in Inland Empire. Each participant will receive a copy of the Roadmap to Resilience.
