Hiking Merit Bade - This Saturday!
This Saturday, the 14th, we are going to have the first of our four 10 mile hikes. It will be a cool one - from the Griffith Park Observatory to the Hollywood Sign!
All Scouts and any troop adults are welcome.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the BSA does not allow any carpooling. Therefore we won't be meeting at Lincoln and driving in a group. Parents will have to transport their own children to the beginning of the hike at Griffith Park Observatory and pick them up at the Hollywood Sign and or the designated area to be determined. As always, any adults that would like to accompany the group are more than welcome (that way it may save them a trip).
This is a great merit badge to start now.
If you have already started the Hiking Merit Badge - now is a good time to make a plan to finish it.
If you are interested, get back to me at bobgunter@verizon.net quickly so we can make final plans.
