Dear FCEC Members,
On behalf of Florida Council for Exceptional Children, it is with deep regret that we are informing you of the cancellation of the 2021 Florida Council for Exceptional Children State Conference in Daytona Beach, Florida. The decision to cancel was based on the available scientific data on COVID-19. We do not want to risk anyone’s health and wellness, given the outbreak of the new variant of the COVID‐19 virus.
We recognize that the timing of this decision significantly inconvenienced many. However, this decision rose from deep concern for the health and well-being of our registrants, staff, and vendors. 2021 conference registration fees will be fully refunded. You will receive an email confirming your refund has been processed.
We ask for your patience as we work diligently to address questions and provide additional information to the participants and guests. We look forward to hosting our state conference in the future.
