On November 8, we held our first Prayer Walk on the property with which God has blessed us in Franklin, TN. We were amazed by kneeling and praying families that lifted this ministry up to God and called upon Him for His continued blessings in building, planting, and engaging communities.  We will be prayer walking our Nashville site after the first of the year!

Greenhouse Locations

Last month, we shared the location that God has given us to launch this ministry. We continue to work with the local and state governments to obtain clearance on breaking ground in both Davidson and Williamson Counties. As part of our requirements for the government agencies, we worked with an architecture firm to thoughtfully design each location so that we can maximize our impact and food out-put for the communities we serve. Click here to see the renderings of both locations.

With God’s help, we will push over 50,000 pounds of fresh, nutritious, healthy produce into communities that have previously been without access. With base-skills training and potential job placement for our Cul2vators, they will receive the hand up they desire. Please pray that God will continue to move as only He can as we step in faith into what He has called us to do.

Join the Fight

Help us fund both greenhouse locations! Our goal is to raise $350,000 by the end of this year. This is an ambitious goal, but we know that God provides the means when the mission gives glory to Him. Sow the seed and give now.

Partner with us. Give now.
We were the recipients of a huge “Christmas Gift” in mid October when the Center for Learning and Living contacted us about two greenhouses on their property that they wanted to donate to Cul2vate. We arrived to find that these were not just simple greenhouses; instead, these greenhouses were equipped with irrigation, heating and cooling options, and growing equipment that we need! We immediately accepted the challenge of labeling, dismantling, and moving this gift to a place where we are now repairing damage, ordering needed parts, and preparing them for re-assembly on one of the above sites. God is good! Thank you, Center for Learning and Living.

Volunteers Answered the Call

The response to our “all hands on deck” call to help disassemble our “gifted” tunnels was overwhelming. We worked many long hours for 2 1/2 weeks, and every day 5-6 people arrived to help! It truly does require many varied skill-sets to build a ministry. God has gifted you with something unique, and if you feel the draw to join us in this endeavor, we’d love to have you. We will soon be re-assembling tunnels, preparing garden plots, fencing, networking communities, and mentoring those God calls us to serve, so we need lots of you. Stay plugged into opportunities that are coming soon!
65 pounds of produce were harvested from our fall garden with the Brentwood Baptist Missions Garden the first week of November. The volunteers at GraceWorks were excited to receive the vegetables as they don't receive fresh produce on a regular basis.

Ephesians 3:20

“Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us – to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

As we step forward, we are asking God to do in and through us more than we could “ask or think.” We claim this as we move forward in obedience to the work He has called us to and ask that you join us in praying this verse with us.
