It's Getting Real!

Cul2vate is charging forward ready to attack food insecurity in Tennessee. These past five months have provided our executive team with quality time to nurture Cul2vate from its infancy, and we are quickly approaching the threshold for our first big leap - securing the location of our first greenhouse!

Currently, we are exploring potential land tracts in both Davidson and Williamson Counties. God has opened doors that only He could, and our Board of Directors is examining each opportunity with discernment and prayer. We are confident that we will have clear confirmation on the best launch site soon. Please continue to cover this important decision in your prayers and stay tuned for an update in the near future.
"In September of 2014, the Economic Research Service at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) released its most recent report on food insecurity, indicating that 49 million people in the United States are living in food insecure households, 16 million of whom are children." -- Source:

Announcing Our Presence

On August 1, 2015, we launched our website! The development of the site was a process that provided clarity and definition to the calling God has put before us. Here you can learn about our latest endeavors and volunteer opportunities. Dive into our mission with us and make the urgency to eradicate hunger your reality.

 300 Plants in the Soil

We planted a fall garden in collaboration with the Brentwood Baptist Missions Garden. This summer the Missions Garden aided by veteran farmers Charlie Coffey and Don McGonical has given over 3,000 pounds of produce to GraceWorks and TN Baptist Children's Home. When it's harvest time, we need you to volunteer to be a picker or deliverer.

A Strong Leadership

We are excited about the Board of Directors that God has brought together to lead us and look forward to serving alongside them in this mission. The diversity in this group will be its strength as we move forward, and we are humbled to be on this journey with them. You can see their glamour shots and read more about each individual on our website.
