Harbeth on tour

The latest news from hi-fi shows worldwide

"Harbeth speakers have never sounded so good"

at Beter Beeld & Geluid's Classic Albums Show

September began with Dutch Harbeth dealer Beter Beeld & Geluid's 'Classic Albums' show.
People were invited to bring along their favourite classic albums, which were played on two systems.
The first featured the SHL5plus 40th Anniversary model playing on a Luxman L-590AXII Class A amplifier, whilst the other system featured the C7ES-3 40th Anniversary model paired with a Luxman LX-380 valve amplifier.

Garmt of Beter, Beeld & Geluid commented that - "both systems were sounding exceedingly pleasant and musically inviting, with one attendee exclaiming that he had never heard Harbeth speakers sound so good before."

Alan Shaw presents with HiFi Studio, Finland

at Messukeskus show

Last month Harbeth's Finland dealer - HiFi Studio Turku, presented the P3ESR 40th Anniversary model,
SHL5plus and M40.2, at this year's Messukeskus show.

The show, which ran over three days, also featured presentations by Harbeth designer, Alan Shaw.
During his presentations Alan encouraged attendees to go into their local hi-fi dealer and do their own research to establish their desired sound. He also made the point that the loudspeakers that you are introduced to early on in your life, will inevitably become your 'reference sound.'

Congratulations must also go to HiFi Studo Turku on the recent opening of their new premises.

Anniversary models bring "music,music,music"

to two German hi-fi shows

Input Audio demoed our Anniversary speakers at not one but two German hi-fi shows during September.
Firstly at Westdeutsche HiFi Tage in Stuttgart, where our M30.2 Anniversary model wowed attendees.
Bernd of Input Audio commented - "we achieved one of the best sounds of the show as visitors confirmed several times, commenting -  "Relaxed and natural as always. Music, music, music.""

Our C7 40th Anniversary model attracted attendees at the HiFi Days Show in Bonn, as did our much-loved
mini monitor - the P3ESR.

C7 40th Anniversary model makes "beautiful music"

at shows in Norway and USA

Harbeth distributors in both Norway and the USA demoed our C7 40th Anniversary model during September.
Available in a stunning Tamo Ash veneer, the C7 was described as making "beautiful music" by Part-Time Audiophile
at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Colorado, USA.

Anniversary models are Stereophile's Recommended Components

The M30.2 40th Anniversary model has received Class A accreditation in Stereophile's latest
Recommended Component list. Described by Herb Reichert as "the most tuneful, accurate, neutral, fun, and music-loving stand-mounted two-way speaker I've heard."

The P3ESR 40th Anniversary model was also featured and in another recent review by Herb, was described as
"the best-built most natural-sounding small speaker I have ever heard."

This month we hear from a P3ESR 40th Anniversary owner, James.

Hi-fi system setup

  • Harbeth P3ESR 40th Anniversary speakers
  • Naim Uniti Atom
  • Croft Micro 25
  • Croft Power 7
I also have Rega Apoloo CDP as my CD source and Rega P1 Turntable.

James' journey to Harbeth

"I first heard of Harbeth on YouTube, there was a factory visit with Alan Shaw. What picked my interest is how Alan described his philosophy of designing the Harbeth speakers, to be as truthful with human voice as possible."

Music

"I usually listen to orchestral and instrumental music: Mozart, Anna Lelke's harp, Final Fantasty's orchestras, Kitaro Kojiki, as well as some oldies by Bread and Bee Gees."

Thank you for sharing your system with us James!
