Kol Yisrael

Kol Yisrael: pluralism is a six-week learning cohort about the big questions facing contemporary Israel(is). Together we'll spark meaningful discussions about why Israelis who disagree with each other have compelling reasons to do so. Students will receive a $150 stipend upon completion of the cohort. The registration link is: Kol Yisrael Pluralism application

THIS WEEK's Global Food Tabling Station is 
sponsored by our WFU Hillel! 

THIS Wednesday, September 2111:30 - 1:30 pm in the PIT. For Rosh Hashanah's Tabling session, WFU Hillel is hosting and we will have Kosher Brisket and Honey Cake.  

Contact Ally W to volunteer to serve the food, talk about your Jewish experiences on campus, share about Hillel, or explain about Rosh Hashanah to the people who come to the GFTS  table.

  1. Services organized by WFU Hillel. 
    • Tashlich (Sept 26) at 2 pm at Reynolda Waterfalls led by Rabbi Charlie for the members of Temple Emanuel and the WFU Hillel and Wake Forest community
    • Rosh Hashana Day 1 (Sept 26) at 3 pm in Davis Chapel
      • Led by Rabbi Dr. Andrew Ettin
    • Yom Kippur (Oct 5) at 3 pm in Davis Chapel
      • Led by Rabbi Dr. Andrew Ettin
    • Break-the-Fast (Oct 5) at 6 pm in the Hillel Lounge.
  2. Services and meals at WFU Chabad (most days &  evenings)
  3. Services at Temple Emanuel (Reform) (carpools) 
    • Bring your student id.  RSVPs appreciated for meals
  4. Services at Beth David Synagogue (in Greensboro- Conservative) (contact their office and bring your student id)
  5. Zoom into services at your home congregation
