Hi everyone
This is my first newsletter as General Manager of The Kentish Hare and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my team and the many customers who have welcomed me back in my new role. Melvyn left us on the 10th March and we wish him every success in his new business venture.
Spring is here at last and Easter is on the horizon from Good Friday 14th to Easter Monday 17th April. We are booking up fast, so make sure you call us on 01892 525709 to secure your table well in advance to avoid disappointment. The garden is looking particularly lovely with spring flowers and bulbs as the weather warms up, it's also a great spot for a pre-dinner aperitif, cocktail, bar meal or just a quiet drink with friends in relaxing surroundings.
We have several new seasonal dishes on our menu to enjoy for example Grilled Lamb Rump with braised lamb shoulder, celeriac and crispy potato and some delicious yummy desserts which melt in your mouth!

Our third birthday falls in May and to celebrate we are holding a special guest chef night with The Tanner Brothers on Wednesday 17th May.  Guest chefs are Elly Wentworth, who was a  finalist in Master Chef, The Professionals 2016 and Dean Westcar, a former Master Chef contestant.
Elly, who started her career and training with Chris and James at 'Tanners' in 2011 will be joining them alongside her colleague Dean Westcar from the Michelin starred Luckman Park Hotel, Wiltshire. 
Showcasing their incredible culinary talent throughout an evening of collaborative cooking alongside the Tanners, diners will be treated to a unique and specially designed five course menu. Wine expert Paul Robinson has chosen a selection of wines to complement each dish. Full details will be on our website nearer the time, early booking is advised as this will be a very popular event.

Father's Day falls on Sunday 18th June, there will be a special 3-course menu for £29.95 per person, £15 for children from 5-14 years and little leverets under 5 eat free! These tables will go fast so book now to avoid disappointment.
