Creation begins with inspiration. Something inspires passion and motivates storytellers, storymakers and artists to share its divine spark with others who seek inspiration.

No matter how much you love writing, there will always be days when you need inspiration from one muse or another.

Inspiration is not just a desirable thing, it’s an integral part of the writing process. 

Every writer needs to find inspiration in order to produce inspired writing.

Charles Randolph was born to write the screenplay for Bombshell

Charles Randolph has worked with many iconic film-makers, including Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Milos Forman and Ridley Scott.

When Randolph began drafting the screenplay for Bombshell, he couldn’t have known such a massive cultural sea change was at hand.

He increasingly sensed something boiling under the surface when he heard stories from female friends about the systematic sexual pressure and even assault they experienced at work, including in the news business.

He is familiar with real-life scandals and corruption and received an Oscar for his screenplay adaptation of The Big Short, which was co-written by director Adam McKay tied to actual events and individuals depicting the impenetrable muck of high finance concepts, exposing the human toll of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.
