On April 27, The Longest Table will bring together the community and have an honest discussion. The goal is to facilitate discussions about community action while raising money for a civic plaza at the entrance to the Bikeway. Get your tickets here! There are also sponsorship and volunteer opportunities.

The Charleston AmeriCorps VISTA project is seeking volunteer-driven individuals looking to build capacity for regional non-profits and organizations. There are such 26 sites (including this office) that work to address poverty within different focus areas. Please visit this website to learn more about the focus areas, projects, and how to apply.

Sign up for the Charleston Green Business Challenge and become a member of a more environmentally sustainable and efficient Charleston business community! In our next workshop, we will discuss the commuting costs and ways businesses can make smarter transportation decisions with local experts from the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments. RSVP!

Join us for a free workshop on how to identify, prioritize, and acquire contracts! The Business Services Divsion, in partnership with ForeSight Communications and NAMC, will provide best practices, trends and new strategic insights that will expand their ability to align business activities to current and future bid opportunities.
