As we honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this weekend, we remember his inspiring leadership, dedication to the fundamental principles that now define the SDGs, and focus on taking action toward positive change. Out of his many legendary speeches, there is one quote we find particularly fitting for Ideas4Action:

"We are now faced with the fact, my friends, that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time ... Now let us begin. Now let us rededicate ourselves to the long and bitter, but beautiful, struggle for a new world." Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, April 4, 1967
