Embracing COVID-19 restrictions led to one of our best years yet. Here’s how we did it…..
The pandemic has lead to challenges around the world on a personal, local and global level. At Turning Leaf we were no exception. The lives of our residents and employees were abruptly changed and some of the things they enjoyed most - trips into the communities, social events with other residents, etc. - were not possible.
Thankfully our Turning Leaf staff got creative to offer residents ways to socialize and have fun while adhering to strict COVID-19 protocols. Activity nights, birthday/holiday celebrations, and weekly visits from Aspen, our unofficial Turning Leaf therapy dog, have kept our residents active and in high spirits while we wait for a return to normalcy.
