2. F.E.P. in the News

We are so excited that our wonderful Washington chapter was featured in a local newspaper article!  (The site might ask you to take a survey, but there's a button to skip that step if you want.)

"Seattle resident Anika Lehde championed the effort to start a Washington chapter of F.E.P. after she heard [lauren] Ornelas speak. Lehde felt that F.E.P. shared many of the values that people in the Pacific Northwest care about, such as access to healthy food, farm worker rights and social justice, as well as animal rights."

Learn more about why WA Chapter coordinator Anika Lehde and volunteer Fernando Cuenca have joined in the local fight for food justice. also ran a piece about F.E.P., highlighting lauren as one of the women "maximizing the agricultural revolution"! We're delighted to have our work in vegan food justice highlighted in this way.

3. Berkeley Vegan Earth Day

Join us on April 17th at the 6th-annual Berkeley Vegan Earth Day festivities in Berkeley, CA.

F.E.P. founder and executive director lauren Ornelas will be giving a talk on what sustainability means and how we can all work together toward a more just and sustainable world for all beings.

You can read some thoughts from lauren on sustainability in her blog.
