HCVRN Secretariat updates
Webinars for ALS users
The HCV Assessor Licensing Scheme (ALS) team will be hosting three webinars in August to explain to Licensed Assessors, Quality Panel members, growers, and companies further improvements to the ALS. Improvements were approved by the HCVRN Management Committee and are geared towards greater efficiency, financial sustainability, and transparency.

Status on HCV assessment report evaluations
Following an announcement regarding delays in HCV assessment report evaluations, the ALS Quality Manager has been contacting companies to update them on the status of the report(s) they have commissioned. Companies can also check the status of their reports by visiting the Status of Reports section on the ALS website. If you have any questions please contact Ruth.
HCVRN Member & Supporter updates
Landscape and jurisdictional project
The HCVRN Secretariat will soon receive funding from HCVRN Member GIZ (Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit) to develop global guidance for applying the HCV Approach at the landscape and jurisdictional scale. The scramble for land rights
HCVRN Member World Resources Institute has recently published a report which examines discrepancies in time and costs required to obtain formal land rights in 15 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America. Read the report here.
