Program Updates
The solstice is almost upon us, and the dark days will start to get a little lighter. This Solstice, Yule, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year or whatever your holiday we invite you to spend time in fellowship, reflect, and rejoice.

Hopefully you will have the opportunity to rest and recharge with friends and family this holiday season, and share a meal or two. The holidays are an excellent excuse to dine on some delicious winter vegetables. If you (like me) have ever wondered how best to butcher a winter squash or "what the heck do I do with all this beautiful radicchio?", you should head on over to eatwintervegetables.com. There are recipes and videos there that will help guide you on your winter veg journey.

Here is a link to my one of my favorite recipes on the site Black Futsu Salad with Radicchio. Credit to Tim Wastell for this delicious dish.

See yall in the new year!

New Publication from SARE

Manage Weeds on Your Farm is the definitive guide to understanding agricultural weeds and how to manage them efficiently, effectively and ecologically—for organic and conventional farmers alike.

Ecological weed management is knowledge intensive, rather than input intensive. But it doesn’t have to be excessively labor intensive. Manage Weeds on Your Farm shows you how to outsmart your weeds by identifying the right tactic for the right weed at the right time, which will reduce as much as possible the labor required, while ensuring your weeds don’t impact crop yields.
