The first EAP General Meeting is on September 18th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in ENGR 285. Lunch will be provided! If you have not RSVP'd yet, please do so by September 15th. You may RSVP here.

Our itinerary for the first general meeting:
  • Introduction of new and returning Ambassadors
  • EAP’s goals and mission
  • Types of outreach events
  • What EAP has to offer to SJSU Ambassadors
  • Expectations as SJSU Engineering Ambassadors
  • Future events, socials, and meeting information
  • Lunch and applications

This year, our goal is to expand our outreach program by adding on a few new objectives, such as our newly added pen pal program. We hope you will be interested in volunteering in these events to further inspire younger students.

Pasta Bridges at Lincoln High School
Dates: 9/15, 9/16, 9/24

Our first Ambassador volunteer opportunity does take place before our first general meeting. At this event, high school students are challenged to design and build bridges made out of pasta and glue to create a bridge with a high strength to weight ratio. Ambassadors, along with Professional Engineers, will help guide these students to think critically on how to improve their designs.

Please RSVP here by September 7th. We will send a reminder to all the Ambassadors who have signed up before September 15th.
