Contemplative Practices Tonight at 7 p.m.
A series of evening contemplation practice gatherings continues tonight on Zoom for centering and seeking calm.
Each week a different leader will guide us in a contemplative practice. As a participant, there is no preparation, simply come curious about the evening's practice.
Tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 27, Rev. Barbara Troxell leads a contemplative practice also based on The Examen. Tonight's practice is a variation of the practice led last week by Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Moore.
Each session is one hour, beginning at 7 p.m. The zoom link opens at 6:45 to allow you to get connected and settled in. (Video is not critical, so dialing in does not diminish the practice for those with limited internet connectivity.)
If you enjoyed these evenings this summer and found them helpful, consider telling a friend or inviting a family member.
These sessions are a time away, a break from the week and the day, to center and experience the benefits of contemplative prayer practice.
The series will have six sessions in October and November.
