'storm survivors' - as we all are, one way or another...

Last week's storms got me thinking about the storms I've 'weathered', and the ones I'm still in. Each day can bring it's own little storms - disruptions, plans changed, misunderstandings, health issues.

We are all vulnerable to being blown about.  

Whatever the weather practice resources us. We learn how to respond in ways that minimise the damage, to ourselves and others. Sometimes we stand our ground, other times the path of least resistance serves us better. And still of course we can find ourselves a bit bruised by it all.

Then mindfulness and self-compassion is there as comfort and refuge again. To help us recover, and tend the hurt places.

Please join me this weekend with a new offering!

The Saturday mini-retreat is now both online and in person - so you can join us from the comfort of zoom at home or at the lovely Kingston Quaker Centre :)
