If only everything was as light to hold as fallen rose petals hey?...
There's a lot to hold right now, and I hope that some of you like me are enjoying the blessing of a little holiday space to resource you.
Meditation practice can be a little holiday too, holding a space for ourselves however we are.
Preoccupied? worried? excited with anticipation? broken hearted with sadness or grief? All of it just wants to be held.
In meditation we make a clearing for ourselves, and find we are with a our good friend loving awareness. We can give ourselves over to being held by this natural presence that's always available to us. We feel more connected, less activated, more able to engage with what's before us.
