Always Be Curious (and Do the bee dance!)

They're doing the Happy Bee Dance because it's Spring! (And the camera's dancing a bit because my dog was yanking her leash while trying to eat bees.)

You care about bees, yes? Me too—big time. Let's see what we can learn about them at one of the Buzz on Bees talks coming up at LOCOL in the next few weeks. First one to start their own hive gets... honey!

with Fariya Doctor

This Feldenkrais-based vision class will help you hone how you use your eyes for seeing, improve spatial awareness, and will improve your overall vision.

Going Abstract
with Kim Manley Ort
Practice your focus on the elements and learn to express emotions through them. This is a fun and freeing form of photography.

Saturday, April 8, 3–5pm:
Grow Heirloom Organics with Rose Bartel, II

Learn to grow organically; leave with piles of knowledge and 4 (new, different-from-last-time) organic heirloom tomato plants. You'll start your own organic potatoes too!
We'll also be planting 5-6 different types of flowers for cutting and making gorgeous arrangements à la Rose.
Watch for Rose's farm tour in June, where we'll see how it all works, and learn how to build our own bouquets.
