October 28 is the World Animated Movies Day.
We made a small selection of some must-see Francophone cartoons for your enjoyment. Don't forget to share our newsletter if you recommend them too!

Persepolis: The story follows a young girl as she comes of age against the backdrop of the Iranian Revolution in the late 1970s.

Les triplettes de Belleville: in the 1930s, an elderly woman goes on a quest to rescue her grandson, a Tour de France cyclist who has been kidnapped by the French mafia. Details here.

Which animated movie do you still treasure?
Each week, you'll find in this newsletter a small sentence that can be used next time you go to a French speaking country.

To keep in the theme, please find below what you could ask while in
Libreville, Gabon:
" Quel était votre dessin animé préféré quand vous étiez petit ? "
[Kel aytay votr dessin pray-fay-ray kanh voo ay-tee-ay peh-tee ?]
