Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon week is a national week of bringing awareness to the devastating effects of drug and alcohol abuse on our communities.The UNITE Washougal Community Coalition supported our schools by providing prevention materials and promotional items including bracelets, pencils and “Plant the Promise” tulip bulbs to show their support for healthy choices.

Parenting Wisely

Positive communication is possible. Come learn skills about staying connected to your middle school student through these transition years. Class is free, gift card upon completion, Jemtegaard Middle School, Nov. 10th, dinner 5:30 p.m. workshop begins at 6:00 p.mLEARN MORE >>


Unite! has been working with the students at Washougal High school’s Be the Change Team to help students stand up to bullying and encourage positive interactions. Look for these fabulous posters at Washougal Schools.The "All For One" campaign is a part of Unite's "Positive Community Norms".

Be a Hero,
Lock up your Meds

Clark County residents dropped off over 2,000 pounds of pills with local law enforcement officers and volunteers on Saturday September 26th. The medicine disposal event was the largest in the history of Clark County. LEARN MORE >>

Man U

Our wonderful Washougal community is working together to build skills and develop character for our 8th grade young men. Their first event will be held November 5th from 4 to 6:30 pm at Jemtegaard Middle School. Canyon Creek 8th grade boys will be provided transportation to Jemtegaard to participate.

Fabulous Volunteer and a Local Hero

Heather Jordan, founder of D.Studio 21, Inc., is passionate about contributing to a healthy, vibrant Washougal community. Her design team spearheaded Unite's Positive Community Norms campaign and Heather continues to provide guidance as a board member for Unite. Our community has been touched in numerous ways by her creative leadership. Thank you, Heather!
