5th Annual Courtney's Day of Service: Volunteering at YMCA Camp Jones Gulch

9:30 AM -
2:30 PM
Please join us on Sunday April 23, 2017 for the Fifth Annual Courtney’s Day of Service, an afternoon of volunteering and/or outdoor enjoyment and recreation the
YMCA Jones Gulch outdoor and environmental science camp. In tribute of Courtney, many of us will gather together to contribute our time and energy towards improving a place that Courtney absolutely adored!
THIS YEAR WILL BE THE KID-FRIENDLIEST YEAR OF ALL! We'll be learning some dedicated kids activities for your little kiddos to enjoy nature and learn about our environment. (free baby sitting anyone?)
In past years, over 60 volunteers built and painted new picnic tables; installed a giant chess/checkers board; replaced an ailing foot-bridge; refreshed the picnic area and archery range; laid the foundation for a knot-tying wall; and restored the Loon Trail, Old Toyon Trail, Vista Trail, and—closest to our hearts—Coral’s Way. All this while enjoying a beautiful afternoon in the redwoods with good friends.
