Hello,

Derbyshire Dales CVS Email Newsletter

Derbyshire Dales CVS is delivering a new and exciting project for the district with our Development Workers, Harriet Brown and Debbie Rushworth.

Social prescribing is an opportunity to explore what matters to an individual, their life and well-being. The project will help participants to access activities and organisations of their choice in their local community.

How does social prescribing help?
Stronger links to your community can give you a better quality of life by:
• Reducing loneliness and isolation
• Improving physical or mental well-being
• Giving a sense of belonging and being valued

The project helps to break down the barriers that prevent people from getting involved; maybe lack of information, confidence or transport.

If you would like to find out more please ring Debbie or Harriet on 01629 812154.
