CBA CELEBRATES: FIU College of Law Alum Jeremy Thompson, Esq on being selected to receive one of the Broward County Bar Young Lawyers Section's Diversity Scholarships for its Boot Camp Series. 

Mr. Thompson also recently published an article in the Harvard Law and Policy Review titled Dismantling the School-to-Prison Pipeline: South Florida's Approach. Read more on this rising Caribbean lawyer and link to his article here. Congratulations, Jeremy!

Black History Month Symposium: “The Crisis in Education – Hope for Tomorrow” 
The Black Affinity Group at the Miami office of White & Case and the Caribbean Bar Association invite you to join us for an evening of dialogue and culture. This year’s program centers on the theme: “The Crisis in Black Education.”

Thursday, February 23, 2017
5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. 
The evening will also feature a live musical performance by Jamaican reggae artist Pablove Black, an exhibition of African diaspora art, and a sampling of multicultural hors d'oeuvres and refreshments prepared by Group member Dorette Darby. Lawyers, staff and client guests are welcome.
