Rehabilitation Research News: October 3, 2022

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and NCMRR would like to acknowledge the contributions of people with disabilities whose work helps keep the nation’s economy strong. 

I’d like to congratulate and thank the members of the Medical Rehabilitation Research Resource (MR3) Network for the excellent scientific retreat they hosted last week on Rehabilitation Clinical Trials: Innovations, Designs, and Tribulations. If you did not attend, I encourage you to review the recordings on the Medical Rehabilitation Research Resource Network (MR3 Network) website.

Like many of you, NCMRR staff members are beginning to travel more regularly to scientific meetings and conferences. We encourage you to stop by our talks, say hi at our booths, and generally engage with us. We miss seeing you in person and look forward to interacting more in real life. 

Finally, NIH is hiring for multiple positions at multiple institutes. By the time this newsletter arrives, the most recent job posting on the USA Jobs website will have closed, but we are continually looking for new program, review, and policy staff.
