Hey <<First Name>>,

This past week I was inspired by a recent Adam Neely video on polyrhythms and had some fun with the classic FizzBuzz programming challenge. FizzBuzz is really just a three against give polyrhythm!

Watch me snap it out like an idiot.

The article also includes an embedded React tool to generate visualizations of any type of polyrhythm. This is the first time I’ve ever included any interactive content in a post, and I’m happy with how it turned out. More to come, hopefully.

I also spent some time deploying a very early version of my LiveView-backed Elixir-based chord finding application, now called Glorious Voice Leader.

It’s still early days, but you should definitely check it out. Here’s a link to the tool’s suggested interpretation of the chords in Fly Me to the Moon. Uncheck a few of the fretted notes to get other suggestions for chords!

I’ve been pretty excited about this project lately, and I’ve gone 100% chaotic neutral with my coding style. If you want to see the (very ugly) code, check out the Github repository.
