and then evening service from 6pm (last bookings by 9pm)

Rough Pea Burger Recipe - (first make a great homemade bun)
Ingredients: petits pois, creme fraiche, fresh mint, fresh tarragon, preserved lemon, salt, pepper, wasabi. (Whizz all that up together)
   Then mush up 50/50 organic chick peas and blackeye peas/(beans)... with garlic, tahini, salt and lemon, and a big bunch of peashoot tendrils.
   The drier mushed-up bean and chickpea mix will provide the texture and structure (60% of mix)- stir this up with the petits-pois-flavour-bomb (40%), and add a big bunch of peashoots to the combined ingredients + salt and pepper... 
Lovely. Tis great with a tamarind ketchup - you can get tamarind in various forms from Food City -international food supermarket on Linthorpe Road, (and at Kashmir on Victoria Road) - Basically here we've cooked an intense tangy Tamarind concentrate through with lots of sugars, honey, onion and fruits. 
And here's a fruit crumble filling for good measure.
