Regis College of Toronto Named New Associate Member of AJCU
The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) is pleased to welcome Regis College, affiliated with the University of Toronto, as its third associate member. Regis' president designate, Rev. Gordon Rixon, S.J., said, "Regis College offers a unique approach to the education of Jesuit and lay students preparing for ministry in the Church and faith-based service to society. This year, Regis enters a closer collaboration with St. Michael’s College, a sister theological school, to strengthen the Catholic presence at the University of Toronto. Together, the institutions offer rich opportunities to develop the Jesuit Universal Apostolic Preferences, especially as they respond to pressing justice issues with indigenous peoples in Canada."
