Forest management and wildfire risk reduction in the Big Thompson watershed

Tuesday, January 22nd, 5:30-7pm at the
Loveland Public Library (Erion Room)

Big Thompson Watershed Coalition and project partners, the City of Loveland and Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed, are hosting a public workshop next Tuesday evening, January 22nd from 5:30-7pm! Please join us for this family friendly event and help us spread the word to your communities.

In an hour and a half we hope to inform our local Big Thompson, Loveland, and greater Larimer county communities of the Round Mountain Forest Health Demonstration Project, open discussion on forest management needs on public and private land in the Big Thompson watershed, and gauge further community interest and concerns through activities and take-home resources. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Stay tuned for additional workshops held this summer to tour the Round Mountain project site after restoration and share more of your thoughts on forest health, management, and wildfire risk reduction.

Feel free to respond with any questions or comments.  Sincerely,

Courtney Gutman
