Keeping Business Flying Around The World
For The Industry, By The Industry

MARCH 2020

Kurt Edwards

Watching the spread of COVID-19 around the world is causing concern, particularly in the aviation industry.  IBAC has become a partner in CAPSCA (Collaborative Arrangement for the Prevention and Management of Public Health Events in Civil Aviation), anchored by several United Nations agencies, including ICAO and WHO, which shares up-to-date information on the spread of epidemics from global experts and industry entities.  The CAPSCA page on COVID-19 can be found here for your direct reference.  IBAC will also push out to its members updated information as it comes available.

In addition to the CAPSCA site, ICAO has also launched its own web page on COVID-19.  It is focused on civil aviation and provides targeted resources and information for use by operators, airports, and passengers.

We encourage use of both Web sites as part of your risk-assessment and -mitigation processes.
