Under the Sea

Hello, Storytime Friends!
We are so excited to have you join us for another DIY Storytime with the Helen Plum Library! Today we’re going to read, sing and rhyme about Under the Sea!

Settle in for Storytime! At the Library, we always start and end storytime the same way — with music! Through this repetition each week, children can begin to predict events and better engage in these activities. Choose your cozy spot and let’s get started.

Sing: “I'm a Little Fishy”

(Tune: “I’m a Little Teapot”)

I’m a little fishy, (hold up one hand with thumb up)
Watch me swim. (move hand back and forward)
Here is my tail, (wriggle fingers)
And here is my fin. (wriggle thumb)
When I want to have fun with my friends,
I swish my tail and dive right in. (swish fish hand around and dive)

Sing: “Down by the Ocean”
