FESTIVALS 2023
WHO'S RIGHT FOR YOUR LINEUP?

Our thoughts are turning to next year's festivals here at Fancourt Music HQ, so we wanted to get in touch with a list of the artists we have available. We've got a bit of everything, ranging from traditional folk, bluegrass, Americana, singer-songwriters, indie-folk and one or two things that are hard to pigeon-hole!

We've also got something for every size of festival, from the larger stages right down to some great emerging talent that would suit smaller stages and festivals, so please take a moment to browse through the list.

Clicking on the artist image will take you to their page on the Fancourt Music website, where you can find more information, video, availability and contact details.

JIM MORAY

After taking an extended hiatus as lockdown saw his Spring 2020 tour halted midway through, Jim is now returning to action to celebrate his 21st anniversary of being a full-time musician. Jim is planning a Summer packed with festivals, playing a mixture of back catalogue and new material. A new album? You never know... watch this space!

INDIA ELECTRIC CO.
Hot off the back of a 60 date European and UK support tour with the legendary Midge Ure, India Electric Co. will be releasing their third studio album in 2023 and are looking forward to bringing their unique upbeat and sparkling genre-crossing sound to festivals as part of their summer album launch tour.
GRANNY'S ATTIC

From Greenbelt to Sidmouth, Granny’s Attic have spent the summer bringing their energy and enthusiasm to festivals up and down the country, getting rave reviews wherever they go. Their latest album The Brickfields has established them as some of the finest musicians of their generation. They’re guaranteed to draw a crowd and as their profile grows, we’re looking to move them to the bigger stages they deserve.

HANNAH SANDERS & BEN SAVAGE

Hannah & Ben wowed festival audiences last Summer, proving a huge hit at Sidmouth and Shrewsbury in particular, playing songs from their Folk Chart Top 5 Album Ink of the Rosy Morning, which was released on Topic Records. They're looking to build on that with more festival appearances this year, and their genre-defying sound makes them a perfect fit for almost everyone.

FRANKIE ARCHER

The latest addition to our roster, Frankie is one of the most exciting and refreshing artists to emerge in recent years, as confirmed at English Folk Expo last month, where her showcase set excitement levels to 11! Already championed by Tradfolk, We're determined to put this brilliant new talent in front of as many people as we can next year... the world deserves to hear what Frankie Archer is doing!

THE BLACK FEATHERS

The Black Feathers are spending much of next year over in the States, but are returning to their UK home between May and September, so festivals are their top priority and the only chance that most people will have to see this spine-tingling duo in action. Their latest album, Angel Dust & Cyanide, has proved a massive success and they're sure to thrill festival audiences with their varied, genre-busting set.

ELLIE GOWERS
With a strong voice full of expression and maturity, Ellie’s much anticipated debut album Dwelling by the Weir was released on 30 September to glowing reviews and a lot of radio play including from BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show. One to watch, this will be the first opportunity for festivals to book her following the release of the new record. Solo, duo and trio options available.
THE WILDERNESS YET

The Wilderness Yet released their new album What Holds the World Together in July, with a host of fantastic reviews and airplay on BBC Radio 2, 3 and 6. Launch shows were held at Warwick, Sidmouth and Cambridge Folk Festivals, but with a baby due over the summer, touring had to take a back seat! The band are looking forward to getting back to festivals to share the album with audiences next year.

JANICE BURNS & JON DORAN

After a summer full of highlights, including playing Stage 2 at Cambridge Folk Festival, Janice Burns & Jon Doran are set to release their debut album No More the Green Hills on 28th October alongside a 20-date tour. Next summer will be the first chance for festivals to book them following the release of this new album, which is already picking up pace, including a spin on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show.

THE LAST INKLINGS
From launching during lockdown, The Last Inklings made quite the splash when they made their real world debut last year. With songs themed around our relationship with the natural world, environmentalism and mental health, they are looking forward to sharing songs from their Official Folk Chart Top 40 album The Impossible Wild at festivals in 2023.
PET YETI
If you need a bit of driving bluegrass on your bill, then Pet Yeti are the band for you! Hailing from all corners of England and Northern Ireland, the five piece are set to be in hot demand and could be one of the bands that really set people's tongues wagging. They're not planning to tour next year, instead prioritising festivals.
NICK HART
Nick's latest album Nick Hart Sings Ten English Folk Songs was released in the Spring to critical acclaim, and this week has been named by the late, great Colin Irwin as one of the Top 10 Folk Albums in Mojo magazine. Nick has toured the new album extensively and is now keen to play as many festivals as possible as his audiences continues to grow quickly.
THE CARRIVICK SISTERS
The Carrivick Sisters have been busy with Midnight Skyracer for the last few Summers, but they're back in duo form with a new album Illustrated Short Stories in tow... their first new release for quite some time. Always a hit at festivals, their fusion of folk and bluegrass is as popular as it is unique.
JACOB & DRINKWATER
Returning from antipodean adventures for later summer and autumn festivals, Lukas Drinkwater and duo partner Tobias ben Jacob tour their gently Americana infused latest release More Notes from the Field. The standout showcase at English Folk Expo this year, their dynamic and emotionally charged live show is full of energy, musical chemistry and spontaneity.
In addition to the above, we also have FALSE LIGHTSLUCY WARDSAM CARTER, KITTY MACFARLANE and KIERAN TOWERS & CHARLOTTE CARRIVICK who are available for selected festivals.
