MAKERS' MONDAYS ~ 5-8pm weekly ~ an Invitation for Experienced and Emerging Creators to come together to make and share, projects, ideas, conceptual inspiration, and discussion about contemporary individual and collaborative projects in our community. Supplies are limited. BYO materials. First meeting May 7th. Suggested Table Topics Welcome! 
WARM-UP WEDNESDAYS ~ 5-8pm weekly ~ weekly skills practice in assorted non-toxic media for emerging and experienced local visual artists. Supplies are limited. BYO materials. First meeting May 9th. Table Topics: Observational Drawing, Suggestions for future meetings.

CREATIVE WELLNESS WORKSHOPS
~ 1-4pm Thursdays ~ Using creative arts to explore and express valuable tools and concepts on the path to independent sustainable wellness. Next Meeting April 19th. Reservations required. RSVP by April 16th.
Enrollment takes place at no cost to you. It is required for planning purposes. Cancel your enrollment at any time. Participants under 18 must have a parent/guardian confirm enrollment. Participants under 14 must have a parent or guardian present during workshops/gatherings unless otherwise noted.

Singers needed for "Against My Will" project Artist and Alfred University alum, Traci Molloy, has been working with students on an art project to speak out against sexual violence, entitled "Against My Will". There will be a public presentation including a theatrical piece for Wednesday, April 18 at 7:30PM. As a part of this presentation a choir will sing "Quiet" by MILCK. If you love to sing and are interested in being a part of this project, please contact

APRIL 26TH ~ The Wellsville Development Corporation is proud to announce the first Banter, Business, & Beverages event of the year! This is meant to be an opportunity for local businesses and individuals alike to gather together, network, meet new faces, and visit with old friends. Banter, Business, & Beverages is open to all - WACOC members and non-members are welcome! 
Attendees are encouraged to bring along business cards to enter into a Pay or Play speed-networking game that will happen throughout the evening! RSVP by emailing Carrie Redman at redmancarrie@hotmail.com. Reservations are not necessary to attend, but are appreciated for planning purposes.

LOCAL UPCYCLE ART PROJECT 
 "Waste Not, Make Art" During FREE Art Fridays at the Friendship Free Library Friday, April 20th from 7:15-9:00 p.m. Make Coiled paper baskets & bowls. Students will learn to create baskets and bowls using coils of old magazine pages or other recycled paper. There is no cost for the class, and participants need not bring any materials with them.

CALL FOR COLORED PLASTIC BOTTLE CAPS ~ "The Wellsville YMCA After School program needs colored bottle caps so start saving and let us know! All colors needed! We are working on a recycling project for Earth 🌏 Day!" Deliver to the Y at the Riverwalk Shopping Plaza in Wellsville or contact them to schedule pick up. 

CALL FOR MASON JARS AND SIMILAR COVERED JARS ~ Alfred Box of Books Library is collecting these jars for an Earth Day project.
  

 

A Gift to Our Local Patrons
A registered recycling facility for several TerraCycle packaging recycling programs; Studio Collection of LISTED, CLEAN and DRY recyclable items began at the studio January 25, 2018. This is a FREE enrollment-based recycling program for local artists, patrons, and entrepreneurs.
