HOLIDAY PROGRAM ROCKS THE HOUSE!
Singing, poetry, history, solos, and celebration filled the Miner gym during the 2016 Holiday program. Every grade level prepared a skit, song, or lesson and dozens of parents and family members packed the bleachers to see the Bears on stage. WATCH!
CUPCAKES & CANVAS =
A SWEET TIME
Miner teachers Ms. Davis and Ms. Fisher hosted an evening of painting, sweets, and fun for students and families. Families shared a canvas and were led through a step-by-step painting project of a winter polar bear. We can't WAIT for the next event! Check out the photo gallery!

Gardening/food
curriculum on the way!
Miner is partnering with Cultivate the City, a local food and gardening education provider, to establish a new garden curriculum and revitalize our two HUGE outdoor cultivation areas! Full program funding will be announced in the spring, and fresh veggies will be on the way soon after.

Science & Engineering Club Coming to Miner!
This spring, Miner will be partnering with NASA to bring a Science & Engineering after-school club to our awesome science lab! The program will include 20 students from 3rd - 5th grade and will feature hands-on science, engineering, and math learning.

PTO Toy Drive Brings Joy
The PTO Family Support committee toy drive brought in hundreds of dollars of holiday gifts for children in need.
