Home in a Box: Blessed to Be a Blessing
From Barb Ollenburg

My husband, Rich, and I made a bountiful blessings meal delivery to Victoria and her family. She is such a lovely young woman with a smile on her face and a quiet, calm disposition. She was so very grateful to receive our delivery of groceries, 3 boxes of diapers, two casseroles, eggs, butter, milk, bread etc! Their apartment was totally empty, so I know they were looking forward to the furniture delivery the next day.

Her 5-year-old daughter was overjoyed to receive a children’s Bible and immediately told me she was going to read it to her new baby sister. We also brought a sack full of books, colors, and toys for all of the children!

It seems like each delivery we go on reinforces the fact that we are so blessed to be able to bless others with this particular mission.
The Home in a Box ministry is looking for people willing to be trained to lead and/or join delivery teams!
A Home in a Box delivery team leader has a team of 6-8 people who assist with deliveries. The leader receives delivery information from the Home in a Box leadership team, then coordinates and executes the delivery to the recipient. Each team leader signs up to make deliveries for two weeks in a four-month time period.
