It was Great to See So Many of You Again!

We had nearly 1,000 people come and worship at our 5 in-person Christmas Eve services.  Another 750 worshipped with us live during our 2 livestreamed services.  We look forward to the time when we can all gather together in one place and sing praises to God, but until then, we thank God for the gifts we've been given so His people can continue to worship together.
One More Day Until 2021!
If you would like to make a year end gift to the ministries of Messiah, you can still drop off a donation at the church office this morning, or give a gift at the New Year's Eve service tonight. Electronic gifts before midnight will also be a part of your 2020 gifts, as will any checks that are dated before Jan 1, 2021.

I'll be working on a 2020 summary, but as of the end of the day on Dec. 30, our tithes and offerings were short of budget by just under $100,000 for the month of December.  Our End-of-Year gifts were less than the past few years, but that could be due to some changes in tax laws during this pandemic. Reduced income and job loss are also certainly contributing to this.

A big positive in 2020 is that our net income for 2020 is about $185,000 above what we budgeted.  This is in large part due to the PPP money we received earlier in the year,  but we also received consistent tithes and offerings from many of you, for which we are tremendously thankful.

We have 3 months left in our Forward in Faith campaign and we have received about $30,000 this month for that effort.
