Nutrition Assistant needed for the 2020-2021 school year

Sue Millard, our food service assistant, retired at the end of the school year. Now Char is in need of part-time help in the kitchen. If you're interested, or know of someone else that would be great at that position, please contact Erik Borgmeyer at 402.489.3024.

Did you know that Messiah’s Mindful Movement For Seniors class can come right to your own living room via Zoom? Our faithful group of Messiah friends would love to welcome you to this 45-minute class that incorporates gentle stretching, strengthening, balance, and relaxation, while we focus on God’s word. As we navigate this difficult time that can feel isolating, this is a great opportunity to stay connected with others! Join any time. Help us restore flood-damaged homes at King Lake

We are working on a new home and will see it thru from start to finish. We are also continuing with reconstruction of existing homes. We meet at the Messiah parking lot at 7:15a and leave promptly at 7:30a. We return by 5:00p. At this time we are not taking the church vans, but we are going as a caravan. Please bring your own masks and gloves. All tools are provided, and experience is not needed. Lunch is provided. Would you rather do something other than walk? Great! 20 minutes of any aerobic exercise equals one mile, so that counts too! Playing soccer, yoga, biking, etc!

Portals of Prayer in the Little Library
The July-August-September issue of Portals of Prayer is available Sundays at the Welcome Center, or any time in the Little Free Library by the Preschool entrance. Masks are available in the library as well. If you are unable to get to Messiah call the church office at 402.489.3024, and we can mail a Portals of Prayer and/or a mask.
