We Had a Great Response Last Week.  You've Got One More Sunday to Turn in a Commitment Card.

As a result of our journey through Malachi we are making three commitments as a Messiah family - two have already taken place:

1) On Sunday, November 24th, you witnessed the Messiah staff commit to be faithful to God’s Word in leading the people and ministries of Messiah.

2) On December 8th, you participated in a verbal commitment to also be faithful to God’s Word.

Both of these commitments were divine moments of clarity and dedication - God is moving in and through us!

3) Last Sunday, December 15th, many of you turned in commitment cards and we're very thankful for your

4) This Sunday, December 22nd, you will have one more opportunity to bring your financial commitment to the altar.  We encourage you to make a commitment to bring the tithe into God’s house in 2020 and beyond (Malachi 3).

Look over and pray over the attached document with the commitment card wording. on Sunday you will receive two blank cards to fill out - one to bring to the altar in worship and one to take home as a reminder.

A video invitation to 100% generosity, by Pastor John
We have a Messiah family that is in need of an older car that could be borrowed for a short while.  The transmission went out on this person's car, and they began borrowing a car from their mother, but that car blew a tie rod and needs repair.

Please contact Pastor Dustin if you have any leads on helping this family out.

Special directions for parking on Christmas Eve!
We are blessed to have Sgt. Bill Koepke on 84th from 3pm to 6pm, helping you to get in and out of our parking lot.

1.As you enter the parking lot, please turn right immediately, instead of straight.

2.Feel free to park far away in the lot, and then look for the shuttle that will be making continual loops through the lot and to the front door of Messiah. The shuttle will be running beginning at 3:15pm and it will continue for the rest of the evening.

3.Parking further away in the lot will help our guests feel welcome, and they’ll be able to find parking spots more easily.
Only One More Chance to Make a Huge Difference This Year, But We Will be Continuing our Efforts Throughout Winter

We are only going to be sending volunteers once more this year, on December 28. We were originally going to take a few months off, but because there are still over half of the people from Valley that are not able to live in their homes, we're going to continue to help out in January and February.

If you can find it in your heart to help on December 28, please call the Messiah church office at 402-489-3024 to volunteer, or sign up on our volunteer link:
You do NOT need to be a skilled carpenter. All tools are provided. You DO need to bring your own water, sack lunch, work gloves, and a dust mask. Dress in layers, as some homes still do not have heat.

We will meet at the Messiah church parking lot at 7:15 am and will leave promptly at 7:30 am.  We try to be back in Lincoln by 5:00. If you cannot stay the entire day and want to drive on your own, you can do that. Just meet at the above times and caravan with us to the homes we are working on. Barry Radebaugh will be leading the group’s caravan and the work efforts.
If you have any questions, please call Roxie Stork – 402-450-1604.
