I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Phil. 1:3-5
“Partnership” — this is exactly what ministry is all about! We join together in a beautiful partnership to carry out the mission and ministry of our Messiah family. The result is that we grow as followers of Jesus, and through us more and more people in our community and world are touched with His love.
I want to share how 2019 wrapped up from a financial perspective and also encourage our whole family to see how important it is for us to continue to partner together in all areas of life and ministry.
Praise God highlights from 2019:
Through your generosity tithes and offerings exceeded 2018 by $121,097.00.
Tithes and offerings were the highest on record for Messiah.
Average monthly giving was highest on record.
Average weekly worship attendance is highest since 2010.
Encouragement for 2020:
We came in a little under budgeted income for 2019 (approx. $91K), but we also kept spending below what we budgeted (approx. $41K).
If you would like to visit regarding any of this information or if you would like to find out more about growing in generosity, please contact us, we would love to visit with you.
I want to express my deep gratitude for the dedication and generosity demonstrated by our Messiah family in 2019 and encourage all of us to continue to grow in these areas as 2020 unfolds before us. This is an especially exciting year as our building addition will be complete in July, allowing us to grow all areas of ministry and reach even more people for Jesus. To God be the glory!
Serving Jesus Together,
Dear Messiah Family,
The time is quickly approaching for me to start my three-month Sabbatical time away. During the weeks leading up to my departure (Feb. 9th) I would like to share some of my thoughts about the blessings this time will be for me, my family, and our Messiah family.
Each week I will send out a letter that will further explain what a pastor's sabbatical is and the blessings I pray will come from it. If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
