Dear OxGrowers,

THIS SATURDAY 2nd July: Irregular Folk Summer Session at Hogacre Common
Lots of music and a fun atmosphere at this mini festival. Enjoy sounds in the Bedouin tent and the new Odditorium stage. Find out more here.

In gardening news...what a brilliant team effort on the compost last week. It looks really tidy and smart! Polytunnel 2 is also looking super duper and full of tomato plants. Some of them are enormous! We are harvesting more veg at the moment. Some salads are looking nearly ready as well as lettuce, onions, the last of the broad beans and herbs.

All our veg is for us to take and eat! Try to remember to bring some bags or tubs e.g. tupperware, old ice cream/biscuit box or similar to carry your harvest home. We are trying to cut down on using plastic bags.

Smile! It's nearly Sunday!

We'd love to hear your thoughts...
As a receiver (and presumably reader if you've made it this far) of the weekly newsletter we'd love to here your thoughts on it.
Please take a moment (it really will be only 5 minutes) to answer a couple of questions and reflect back to us how useful, readable or informative you find it and perhaps suggest improvements. Much appreciated! Click here

This week we will be:
  • thinning salads, turnips and other plants
  • harvesting broad beans, salads, onions and herbs
  • weeding and watering
  • admiring this beauty...

As for the weeks ahead...

Sundays: garden open 1pm - 5pm-ish

Wednesdays: garden open 4pm - dusk

Please feel free, as usual, to bring anything that we can share during our tea & cake break - home-cultivated sprouts, breads and any type of baked goods are always welcome!
See you in the garden on Sunday!

Our wormest wishes,

Team OxGrow
