No More Late Registration - We've hit capacity!
Due to a large volume of conference attendees, SkillsUSA Georgia is no longer accepting late registrations. This applies to competitors, advisors and observers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but are excited to see our numbers for this event continue to grow!
If an attendee is no longer able to attend SLSC, you may substitute another person in their place so long as an additional registration is not required for your chapter. The substitution fee is $10 for changes made after February 5th, and until the SkillsUSA Georgia office can no longer accept changes. To make substitutions please email Ashley Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org and please provide the following:
the name of the registrant who is no longer attending
the name of the registrant who is replacing them
Please note that all materials that are ordered are based off of the original registrant's information. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that your substitute will get the correct t-shirt size.
No Cancellation Policy
As a reminder, SkillsUSA Georgia has a no cancellation policy.
Please see below:
An important policy to be aware of as you register for SkillsUSA Georgia events and conferences is that SkillsUSA Georgia has a no cancellation policy. That means that if you register for a conference and cannot attend then we are not able to issue a registration refund. This is because we base purchasing items off our registration numbers. We appreciate your understanding.
Voting Delegate Registration
The new and improved voting delegate experience is now called, Election 2020: SkillsUSA Georgia State Officer Election. Delegates from across the state are invited to attend an afternoon of education, centered around the Essential Elements of Decision Making and Responsibility.
Who should I register as a voting delegate?
You should assign existing registrants as voting delegates as we will cross check the voting delegate registration with the SLSC registration.
You should register students who are observers, are participating in only pre-submission contests, or leadership contests. This is because the program will begin at 1pm and the contests are scheduled to finish before, unlike skilled contests which continue into the late afternoon.
The link to register your voting delegates can be found here: https://www.skillsusageorgia.org/election2020
The deadline to register your voting delegates is:
Friday, February 14th.
Day at the Capitol
Advisors, please be aware that the SkillsUSA Georgia Day at the Capitol has been cancelled due to the legislative session being in adjournment. We will not be rescheduling this event. We appreciate your interest in the event and hope that next year our students are able to meet with their legislators.
