Now Announcing The SkillsUSA Georgia Chapter Recruitment Challenge Winners!

The SkillsUSA Georgia Chapter Recruitment Challenge was designed to aid chapters in developing their own creative recruitment strategy while simultaneously allowing them to put their strategy up against similar chapters from across the state of Georgia.

The Challenge was comprised of four key parts: best student engagement opportunity, best informational handout, best social media post(s), best video engagement. In addition to awarding the top submission in each component, SkillsUSA Georgia is excited to designate the top 10% of submissions as "Master of Recruitment" Chapters.

The following chapters have demonstrated excellence in the area of chapter recruitment. These chapter's are amongst the top 10% of submitted recruitment strategies from across the state of Georgia!

Best Student Engagement Opportunity

Alliance Academy for Innovation
Alliance Academy for Innovation conducted a "Text-Banking Drive" where current members were challenged to text members from the previous school year who had not rejoined the organization. Assignments were divided up into small chunks for each member to take on.

Best Social Media Post(s)

Cambridge High School
Cambridge High School members created several tik-toks highlighting the various CTE programs offered at their school that are covered by SkillsUSA. These tik-toks introduced SkillsUSA and the programs in a quick and funny format!

Best Informational Handout

Stephens County High School
Stephens County High School created an excellent informative handout detailing the time, place, and reason for their first chapter meeting of the school year. Their handout highlighted what SkillsUSA could do for the person who was weary to attend the meeting.

Best Video Engagement

Alliance Academy for Innovation
Alliance Academy for Innovation created an informational video introducing potential members to SkillsUSA, their chapter officer team, and the CTE Programs offered at their school. Alliance Academy's video also highlighted their chapters accomplishments and awards.
