Advisor of the Year
SkillsUSA's Advisor of the Year award honors dedicated career and technical education instructors who serve as SkillsUSA advisors. A new process has been put in place by the national office, and upon completion of the Chapter of Excellence Level 2 Application, advisors are eligible to apply to be considered for the SkillsUSA Georgia Advisor of the Year. A panel then decides the State Advisor of the Year.
This year, our Advisor of the Year believes career and technical education is vital for helping students achieve workplace success. He offers students captivating and challenging curriculum that integrates the building of employability skills. Along with integrating SkillsUSA into the classroom, this year's Advisor of the Year helps his students design chapter activities around building valuable Framework skills. His students are able to article the career-readiness skills listed in the SkillsUSA Framework through projects and presentations, and are ready to take on their careers. Spending 25 years as a law enforcement officer, then applying his knowledge to teach students valuable skills as a SkillsUSA advisor as Cambridge High School, please join me in congratulating this year's SkillsUSA Georgia Advisor of the Year,
Mr. Tim Hart!
All SkillsUSA advisors are invited to apply for SkillsUSA's advisor of the year program through the CEP application process. Be sure to complete your Level 2 CEP application next year to be considered.
